Sponge cake: A lightly textured cake soaked with flavored syrups (orange, lemon, raspberry, rum, etc.)
Pound Cake: A medium density cake available in numerous flavors, including vanilla, brown sugar, Italian Cream Cheese, etc.
Butter Cake: A medium density cake, similar to pound cake, with a rich, buttery flavor.
Carrot Cake: A very moist, flavorful choice, made with or without raisins and nuts.
Chocolate Truffle Cake: A dense, rich chocolate-lover’s delight!
Cheesecake: A rich, New York style favorite.
Fillings:
Butter cream: Light, mildly sweet, melts in your mouth.
Chocolate Butter cream: Same as above, but with a wonderful, chocolate flavor.
Cream cheese: Sweeter and richer than butter cream.
Chocolate ganache: Chocolate, butter, cream, and sugar.
Fruit fillings, jams, preserves: We use the finest.
Icings:
Butter cream: Textured, smoothly spread, or poured. Ivory in color.
Poured Butter cream: Very popular!!! A great alternative to fondant. Smooth texture.
Meringue Butter cream: A lighter colored butter cream.
Cream Cheese: Sweeter and lighter in color than butter cream.
Chocolate ganache: Spread or poured for a glazed appearance.
Marzipan: Almond paste and sugar. Has a smooth texture.
Fondant: Smooth, flawless appearance. Sweet taste.
*Our fillings and icings are made with unsalted butter. We do not use shortening.
Your cake will be made the week of your event.
Prices:
There are so many variables to consider in pricing a cake, including the size of the cake, design work, and the complexity of crafting the cake. We do not have a set price list, but have several price tiers from which you may select, and will make our best effort to work within your budget.The majority of our wedding cakes range from $4.50 to $12.00 per serving. Delivery inside Buncombe County is $25.00, and N.C. tax is 7%.
The minimum for a wedding cake is $200.00.

Chocolate Truffles
Our chocolate truffles are made with fresh cream and fine Belgian chocolate. Each chocolate ganache center is hand-dipped and decorated with a cocoa butter design.

Centerpieces
Chocolate and sugar centerpieces and cake toppers add unique and memorable touches to special events. We design these to complement the theme and feel of your occasion. Most cake toppers will last for years, and therefore can be keepsakes, provided they are kept in a low humidity environment. We can provide you with a glass dome and dessicant pack.
We can custom-design figures, flowers, monograms, abstracts … your imagination (and ours) is limitless.
Our centerpieces are constructed with a variety of mediums:
Sugar: pastillage, rock sugar, crystallized sugar, bubble sugar, blown sugar, pulled sugar, nougatine.
Chocolate: sculpted, hand formed, or cast
Marzipan: hand formed
Gumpaste: hand formed
Centerpiece and topper prices vary, depending on the size and complexity of the piece.
